Seriously? they are children!!!
one show that drives me crazy is that "Super nanny" show. i watched it the other day and it really puzzled me. how YOUR kids gonna call you names and throw shit at you?? they are children!!!! CHILDREN!!! i don't understand how that happens how do you take abuse from a kid? i wasn't sue whether to be mad at the parents for taking the abuse of the kids for being so damn bad. then again they kids learned the behavior from the same people they abuse. one thing that never happens is a good spanking. i don't know about anyone else but i know in my house growing up if i was to do anything out of line or got a phone call from a teacher, it was spanking time. though it wasn't the most pleasant of behavior correction, IT WORKED. don't pin me as this horrible person who supports child abuse but i seriously there is nothing wrong with a good spanking when a child is seriously misbehaving. for some kids the "go sit in the corner" method of behavior correction just does not stick. i mean you throw your dinner on the floor and scream shut up at the top of your lungs and you get to sit in a corner?? it just seems like the punishment does not fit the crime. i guess now a days if you were to spank your kids the advocates plead child abuse (which i think is complete garbage). if you are old enough to make a conscience choice to misbehave then your mind can handle a little spanking. i not saying every little bad thing your child does deserves a spanking but when they are out of control they need to be put in a child's place. the thing about those nanny shows is the kids who cause the most trouble are the really young ones. it makes me really mad knowing that people can not control children. little children.... DON'T HAVE KIDS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PLAN OF HOW TO RAISE THEM.

Greg Giraldo Fund Benefit Night
It was a star studded event that included acts by Jerry Seinfeld, Colin Quinn and Lewis Black just to name a few.
When Greg dies of an accidental overdose in the summer of 2010 he left behind his wife and 3 young sons. His wife created this foundation to help children with families of addiction as a way of using his death as a positive influence to help many children who live with parents of addiction.
There was a slide show of Greg performing at various stages in his career and you could see how the drugs took it's toll on him. His younger pictures showed a healthy, vibrant person filled with life and as time passed you saw the drugs take over and create a shell of a man. It was sad to see this great comedian have such a short life because of addiction. His sons came on stage after the performance and I felt so terrible for them, knowing they would now have to live life without their father because of drugs. I hope this foundation can do some good for the 11 million other families, just like his, that face this illness everyday.
