GANBARE NIPPON!!!!!

I am still watching Japanese news through USTREAM since the terrible earthquake was happened....
My father emailed me that the victims are increasing day by day....and situation is getting worse as well.
It was happened by earthquake at first, but the problem was TSUNAMI....
I cannot endure this terrible situation anymore....even I cannot be with my family....
I really feel bad....

On the other hand, I am very proud to be Japanese.
My friend told me that her friend was working at restaurant when the earthquake was happened. Of course everybody escaped to out side of the restaurant. Then when the earthquake was stopped temporarily, she came back to the restaurant with her coworkers. But they were thinking that nobody would pay money because of the situation. HOWEVER, costumers came back to the restaurant to pay. Even some customers could not pay the money in that day, they came back next day to pay it.
That's amazing.
Even there are supply shortage in afflicted area, people never complain, and they never stool somebody's stuff as well.

I hope that this situation will be better ASAP....

Japan Earthquake

I guess many of you have heard about the massive earthquake that hit Japan yesterday. The earthquake measured in at 8.9. It was one of the highest magnitude earthquakes to hit Japan in a long time. The earthquake triggered tsunamis that hit the coastal cities in the north. Many cars were washed away and buildings were knocked down. Hundreds of people maybe dead and many people are missing.

I watched some footage from the news and it was horrifying. They showed the waves in the ocean slowly pull back and all the suddenly that huge wave moves in on the coast. Boats that got carried in by the wave were running into the buildings, and rows of cars were brought afloat. There were also fields of crops that got covered by the huge waves and debris, and buildings that were destroyed.

So many videos online show footage of the shaking during the earthquake, and footage of people running into the streets to be safe. These people were truly running for their lives, and it is a scary sight. I hope people in Japan are alright and safe now and hopefully get aid to help find missing people, and to help rebuild their land.
