Therefore

I was writing a paper the other day.

I did not know whether to use the word "thus" or "therefore".

This is my problem with English. There are so many ways to say the same thing, but if you choose the wrong one you sound old, or like you are trying to be too smart.

Since I don't know English perfectly yet, I cannot make this decision easily.

Thus, I don't know which word should I choose.

Osama Bid Dead!

Well, it's been a while but they finally got him. Though i must agree with those who say it is not a total relief. Yes, it is a good thing, but one must understand that there are still many others involved in this regime. According to reports, he was not even in command at the time of his death, rather this terrorist regime was under the control of his number #2 man. The threats of retaliation are very real, it is crucial that everyone stay alert. It's unfortionate that this is the reality, for us, for those in Pakistan and all of those living in the middle east for that matter. Countless lives have been effected. It just proves how pointless war is. Wouldn't it be nice if one of those beauty queens wish for "world peace" came true ?

sketch up possibilities

As I was making all those cities in sketch up the other day, I began to think about what else sketch up could do. It was pretty remarkable the things that could be done with sketch up. And I'm not someone who is very gifted when it comes to media kind of things. So the fact that I was so easily able to use sketch up really made me like and appreciate it. The level of detail was pretty amazing. I remember professor saying that google earth uses sketch up to produce its buildings and things like that. I was pretty surprised by that because I know how sophisticated the technology is that google earth uses.

So I was thinking about what else sketch up could be used for. I remember the idea of using it to model the human anatomy was brought up. But I didn't really consider that a possibility because it seemed too far fetched of an idea. But when i began to really think about it, that possibility seemed to be a lot more realistic than i had originally imagined.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am going to download a few models and see what I can do with them. I did a search just now and i didn't really see that many results related to the human anatomy. But I'm sure people would be developing more models sometime in the future. Medical school anatomy is supposed to be one of the hardest classes that exists on the face of this earth so it would be pretty cool to use something like sketch up to aid that process.
