Stay Focused

The key thing to remember in college is to STAY FOCUSED. It sounds pretty easy, but if you never really took the time to say focused in high school its hard to start, until you come to a realization that you need to plan to succeed. I probably should not encourage this but sometimes you need to cram. But that is like a last resort unless you know that is THE ONLY way you can study. Something that I need to work on is “studying” throughout the semester. Studying does not just mean memorizing dates or formulas; it just is a way of letting yourself soak in the information through repetition. By rereading or rewriting the notes you are subconsciously learning, or for math, you need to practice problem after problem. But it is only truly learned when you are so far behind where you should be, or when you have already failed. The easiest way to learn is by making the mistakes yourself, but if you can learn from others mistakes, that will help you out. So get yourself in focus.
