I am on Facebook, like everyone else is, and they keep adding more and more features to monitor us. Recently, whatever I type to my friends, for instance if I tell my friends on their "wall" that I love potatoes a advertisement will appear on my right side talking about potatoes. It scares me that they can recognize exactly what you are saying and fit it custom to you. I guess it does make it connivence for us, but it shows that they are monitoring every little word we say and it has record.
Other features are when Facebook say saves your instant messages you have with people. Whatever you instant message people in the past you can "X" out of it and it will no longer have your conversation. Now, it saves all your conversations to your inbox and you can not delete it. Say you are having a private conversation and you want to get rid of it later for no one to see, people now can look at it and have a record.
All these little features to make our lives "easier" is just a scam to make us monitored and kept down from the government. From some theorists I have been reading, limited power is the best way compared to this strict power America is now enforcing.
