Secrets

Recently I found out that Stony Brook is doing something similar to PostSecret, and they're taking secrets right now until March 16th. After which the secrets will be displayed in the TAC Art Gallery from March 21st - March 25th. Once I heard about this I became really excited because I like PostSecret and have always wanted to submit one of my secrets. As I started to think of what kind of secret I would post, it then donned on me that maybe I shouldn't do this.

I say this because some of my secrets involve what other's have done to me or what I have done to others. I really don't want to get them involved because while it would be anonymous, I am afraid of people I know seeing my secret and possibly realize it's from me. Now you may be thinking "How would anyone be sure it's you?" but you see I would probably draw my secret, thus if one can recognize my drawing style it can become blatantly obvious that it was I who sent that secret in. Though maybe I should throw caution to the wind and just do regardless of people recognizing me or not.

Who knows maybe it is a good thing if someone does recognize it's me. Then again maybe it's not a good thing. However I won't know for sure if I don't post my secret. Well, nothing ventured nothing gained.
