May 5, 2011 was Stony brook’s annual event ROTH REGATTA. Students build boats out of cardboard and duct tape and students race their man made boats in Roth Pond. This year was the first year I went to this event and I enjoyed it. There was free food like burgers, hotdogs, chips, water, snow cones and cotton candy.
