My Weekend
This weekend I must say turned out better than I thought. At first, I thought geesh this is going to be another stressful and boring weekend! But I thought wrong. Today my family and I went to Red Lobster for dinner as a celebration of my sister’s 20th birthday. At first it was suppose to be just my mother, father, little sister, and I, but it turned out to be all of us plus my aunt, five cousins, and my sister’s boyfriend. We had a fun time. So because no one has a car we had to take the bus. The ride wasn’t bad at all I enjoyed the time we spent on the bus. My cousin’s are hilarious. We are on the BX30 bus and my cousin tells her daughter to get off the bus because she thought it was the right stop but it wasn’t. My mother and I ask “why are you getting off the bus this isn’t the right stop” and before we knew it my little cousin was off the bus alone and the bus driver closed the door and started to drive off. We yelled for the driver to stop and he did and we all started laughing. It was funny but it was a mistake and we didn’t mean for that to happen. Finally we reach our destination and the place is packed with people and my “smart” cousin didn’t make the reservations so we had to wait for an hour to eat. During the wait we decided to go to the shopping area (by the way we were in co-op city) and did a little shopping to kill some time. The buzzer finally went off and we were able to sit and order out dinner and I couldn’t wait because I was starving. We had two waiters since we had a party of eleven and this one waiter was hitting on my cousin. He was a descent looking man but I’m thinking to myself do he know how many children she has? Lol…I’m not knocking her but she does have four children and that’s more than enough!! We shared a few laughs and I think I grew a bond with my 2-year old cousin. He finally smiled and played with me and to top it off he gave me a kiss. Usually he just stares at me like he seen a ghost or I have something on my forehead. We parted our separate ways and I’m looking forward to having another fun and enjoyable weekend like this. :)
