Choices, Choices and More Choices

It so hard to choose in America, it doesn’t matter what you are choosing, whether it is a car or a flavor of coffee there are so many choices to be made. There are so many options, sometimes it seems like it would be easier with limited options. Just take a look at a coffee commercial, how many different flavors do they offer? Why do they do it? So they can appeal to all sorts of people, some people only like one kind, and by offering a wider range, companies have the chance to make a bigger profit. Look at cars now, how many various options are there. Nowadays cars have so many options, first the model, now it is not just the base and a luxury one, now there is dx, lx, ex, sx etc. Then there are hundreds of options to make the perfect car for you, from color options, to tires styles it has become hard to pick one. Sometimes even if you are look for the cheapest or plain item, you may not even find it. In India there are no supermarkets and they only sell things they can grow locally, unlike the United States of America who ship anything and everything, so that people can get a variety of choices. I think that we do not realize how good it is to have all these options; we can get apples or any other fruits almost any time of the year, even when it is out of season. There are so many choices, but maybe we can be more appreciative of the choices we have.
